Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This page covers health information, as Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's health-data law use the term. It applies to everyone who uses Timelines. In effect from 25 October 2026. Last updated 2 November 2026.

What counts

Anything you tell Timelines that says something about your body or mind, past, present or future: an illness or injury, your weight, sleep, pregnancy or trying for a baby, medicines, therapy, and how you feel (stress, anxiety, grief). The stories, affirmations and ideas our AI writes from what you typed can say these things too.

What we collect and why

Only what you type: in a timeline and its answers, your About you note, your standing notes, your Never include list, a story request, your notes about the people in your life, and a story report. We use it to write your stories, affirmations and ideas, read them aloud, keep them in your library, and look into misuse when our AI writer refuses a request. We never sell it and never use it for ads.

Please don’t tell us about another person’s health. If someone added you and you want it removed, write to hello@newtimelines.com and we’ll delete it.

Where it comes from

From you, and from the stories and ideas written from what you typed.

Who receives it

Only the companies that do this work for us, as our processors: Anthropic (its Claude models write the stories), ElevenLabs and Cartesia (they read the stories aloud), Supabase (stores it) and Vercel (runs the app). If your phone or browser reads a story with an online voice, such as Google's in Chrome or Microsoft's in Edge, the story's words go to that company. The team at Dare Industries LLC has tools that can open an account when there is a reason to: to answer you, look into a report or a refused request, or fix something that broke. Those tools are protected. We give it to the authorities only when the law requires it. We don't share or sell health data with any other company, and no other company can collect it about you across websites or apps through Timelines.

Changes

If we change this page, we change the dates at the top.
